CHRIST IS RISEN! ALLELUIA!  ALLELUIA!  HAPPY EASTER!
Thank you for your presence and prayers as we celebrate this special feast.  I especially extend a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting with us at this time of year. As we gather this Easter, we celebrate the beautiful gift of life that God has blessed each of us with.

I pray that you and your loved ones have a blessed Easter!  When you come before the Lord, please pray for me, for the other Priests who serve our parishes. Know that we will pray for you, your loved ones, and your intentions.  We may not see each other each day but may we meet each day in our prayers!
Sincere thanks to all who assist in so many ways across our parishes in so many ways, and may the Lord keep us safe and, in His love and care.
God bless. Fr Michael.

PRIESTS EASTER COLLECTION
This weekend, there is the Easter collection for the support of the priests of the parish. This collection which is one of four which takes place throughout the whole year directly supports the local priests in our parish. All priests in the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore receive a quarterly stipend of €5,350 totalling €21,400 per year. This stipend goes towards the usual day-to-day expenses that any of us have including electricity, heating, car expenses, food and general living expenses.

We are so appreciative of all the support that parishioners give to their local priests at such collections and as mentioned in the past, it is now up to each individual parish to support their own local priest going forward.

Again, I sincerely thank you on behalf of the priests for your enormous contribution and support to us in allowing us to be part of your community and to serve you to the best of our ability. Envelopes are in the usual weekly envelope boxes, or special envelopes are available in all church porches. These can be returned with sincere gratitude for your support.

BALLYBACON GRANGE HURLING AND CAMOGIE CLUB are holding a Celebration night in Cahir House Hotel on Sat 6th April at 8pm all are welcome. Tickets can be purchased from any committee member.

TROCAIRE APPEAL
PLEASE RETURN your Trocaire Boxes into the Sacristy or Parish Office. Thank you in advance for your usual generous support for those in greatest need in our world at this time.

THANK YOU ARDFINNAN DAFFODIL DAY
A sincere thank you to thank everyone who supported Ardfinnan Daffodil Day Coffee Morning. Your donations amounted to €5,561 which was lodged with the Irish Cancer Society. Thank you most sincerely. Peggy Scanlon and team.

ARRANGING A BAPTISM OR A CHURCH WEDDING
The ones responsible for arranging a baptism are the parents of the child to be baptised and they also complete the necessary paperwork. Parents should think carefully about who they will ask to be Godparents as they are to be people of practicing faith who will assist the parents in their child’s faith development. It is also a requirement that there be only two godparents – a Godfather and a Godmother – and that they be at least sixteen years of age and have been Confirmed in the Catholic Faith.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
Mass in SS Peter & Paul’s Clonmel on April 7th at 2.30pm.

BAPTISMS
Please contact the Parish Office on 052-746 4408.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT-
This takes place in our parishes on:
Tuesday’s 10-11am in Ardfinnan
Friday’s 2.30-3.30 in Newcastle

Everyone is welcome to come and spend some time in quiet prayer and adoration.
