PANDA PLAYGROUND Ballymacarbry Community Centre are working on an exciting new project to build a playground on our premises, providing a safe space where children of our community can explore and play. The playground will be named “Panda Playground”, which was aptly named after local hero Danny Norris, who loved all things Panda and sadly passed away last year at the age of 7. This playground will be built in his memory, and what an appropriate legacy to a fun loving, mischievous young man. We need your help to raise additional funds to bring the project to completion stage.
We know what a wonderful community we have in Ballymacarbry and the support you have provided to the Community Centre over the years has been phenomenal. This addition to the facility will provide so much enjoyment for the younger generation. We would be very appreciative of any contribution you could make to this fundraiser. EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
This takes place in our parishes on:
Tuesday’s 10-11am Ardfinnan & Friday’s 2.30-3.30 in Newcastle Everyone is welcome to come and spend some time in quiet prayer and adoration.
GRANGE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
The crib in Grange church has been put up by the Community Council. The Christmas lights and the Christmas Remembrance Tree have been put up by the Development Association in front of Grange church and throughout the village. You are invited to tie a ribbon or a small decoration on the tree in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us.
